Cochin Hanifa is the Indian actor cum director and producer and works mostyly for Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and also Hindi films. He was born on 22 nd April, 1951 in Kochi to Hajira and Kochi Velthedathu. He studied from St. Augustine School and went to St. Albert College. He is married to Fasila and has two twin children. He acted in 80 Tamil films and debuted in Azhimukham and directed and written more than 20 films. He died on 2 nd Feb, 2010. Some of his best works are Mannar Mathai Speaking, Enthiran, Deevasuram etc.
